Buddha Mani Patma Thewa Nopphakhro
Buddha Mani Patma Thewa Nopphakhro draws on Buddhist art and ancient astrological knowledge. Its three postures are Pricha Yan, Phichit Man and Maha Mutra, each presented on a broad-petalled lotus base.
In the collection’s interpretation, mani represents compassion and pure intention, while patma, the lotus, represents wisdom and the path toward awakening. A lotus grows from the mud yet opens cleanly above the water, making it an enduring image of spiritual cultivation. The name also recalls the sacred tradition associated with Avalokiteshvara.
Artmulet combines these themes with the symbolism of the Navagraha, the nine planetary deities. The resulting work encourages compassionate action and mindful understanding amid life’s changing circumstances.
