Brahma — Destiny
Brahma occupies an important place in both Buddhist and Hindu traditions. Buddhist accounts connect rebirth in the Brahma realms with the cultivation of profound meditation. In Thai devotional culture, Brahma is also associated with the unfolding of human destiny, expressed in the familiar idea of phrom likhit.
Artmulet interprets this heritage through a contemporary Thai figure with four faces and eight arms. Brahma appears to step forward into a new age, his dignified faces conveying both authority and kindness. The radiant halo and symbolic attributes give the composition a sense of movement and purpose.
The sculpture invites reflection on virtuous conduct, a compassionate outlook and the wisdom to shape one’s path. Artmulet created the work with painter Kriangkamol Nakbangkaew, sculptor Suchat Saejiw and Asia Fine Art foundry.
