Lakshmi Maha Devi Narayani

Lakshmi is honoured as a goddess of abundance, prosperity, good fortune and love. The collection recalls her emergence during the churning of the Ocean of Milk, and her enduring companionship with Narayana through his incarnations.

In devotional tradition, her blessings are associated with those who practise goodness and pursue their livelihoods with care. Artmulet interprets these beliefs as encouragement to build a life of generosity, commitment and responsible work.

Lakshmi Maha Devi Narayani brings the goddess into a detailed contemporary Thai sculptural form. The work celebrates both material well-being and the affection that sustains a family, and is intended as a meaningful heirloom.
