Buddha Maha Chakkraphat Amonrat Si Suwannaphum
The collection is inspired by the story of King Jambupati, a ruler of great power who possessed wondrous royal treasures. When his pride brought him into conflict with King Bimbisara, the latter sought refuge in the Buddha.
The story tells how the Buddha revealed a majestic sovereign presence surpassing the king’s worldly splendour. The lesson is that material power and possessions are subordinate to wisdom and the Dhamma.
Artmulet’s Buddha Maha Chakkraphat Amonrat Si Suwannaphum presents the Buddha in rich royal regalia. The image is intended to encourage a sense of security grounded in awareness and moral conduct, while preserving the beauty of crowned-Buddha art as an heirloom.
