Narayana Transforming the World
Narayana is revered in Vaishnava tradition as a supreme protector who assumes different forms when the world needs renewal. The collection also draws on the Thai sacred phrase Narayana Phlik Phaendin, associated with yantra and chant traditions that symbolize turning difficult circumstances toward a better path.
Its Hindu background includes the account of Varaha, Narayana’s boar-headed incarnation, and the restoration of the earth. Artmulet brings these ideas together in a dynamic Thai sculptural interpretation.
The work presents transformation as a subject for contemplation: the resolve to meet obstacles, act with awareness and begin again. It is intended as a work of faith to be treasured by the family.
